The Core Truth
You stop choosing which app to open. You state an intent, and the agent assembles the models, data, creators and rights required to make it. That seemingly small change dismantles much of today's internet.

Two lanes, one question
Everything an agent does for you falls into one of two lanes. One is entertaining and disposable: if tonight's film is mediocre you lose 35 minutes. One is consequential and irreversible: if the surgeon is wrong you lose your face, your savings or your life. Both run on the same machinery — and only one of them is allowed to guess. Try them both.
Lane 01 invents on purpose and declares every right it needed. Lane 02 invents nothing and declares every gap. That difference is the entire thesis.

Any subject, anywhere on earth. SUZIE answers only from sources she can cite — and signs the answer.
The settlement layer
A personal agent — a Hermes that runs your life, not an app you open — has to buy two things no free web can hand it: permission and verified fact. Today's web gives away the opposite: pages engineered for ranking, reviews bought, an influencer paid to say it. That was survivable when a human skimmed ten links. It is not survivable when an agent acts on one answer. So the agent pays — a fraction of a cent per claim, straight to whoever actually holds the record — and the ledger keeps the receipt.
The content web · free
Paid placement, spun articles, scraped masters, a likeness used without asking. The cost is hidden and it lands on you.
The truth web · metered
Every claim carries a source identity, a fee that reaches the holder, and a consensus receipt anyone can replay. The cost is visible and tiny.
SUZIE asks · Is this surgeon licensed, board-certified and free of discipline — and what does the visit really cost?
Consequential facts: nobody gets to pay for placement, only for verification.

Illustrative settlement. The fee rail is shown as HBAR on a hashgraph-style ledger because that class of network gives fair-ordered, fixed-fee, instantly-final receipts — the shape a truth market needs. Amounts and counterparty agents here are examples, not live transactions.
The registry
The nine city desks are audited, but the world is bigger than nine cities. Businesses and experts anywhere register their desk, answer questions with sources, and earn trust points that anyone can audit. Cited answers score; unsourced claims score nothing.
Five plausible futures
Infinite Personalized Media
01One person, one channel, infinite programming. You don't browse — you request, and it is generated because it doesn't exist yet.
The Agent Economy
02Your agent becomes your economic representative. Commercial agents bid; yours negotiates. Trust replaces owning attention.
Human Authenticity Renaissance
03When everything can be manufactured, reality becomes scarce. REAL HUMAN — VERIFIED commands a permanent premium.
Influencers Become Owned Characters
04A creator stops publishing to twenty million and licenses a personality platform that meets each person individually.
The Synthetic Celebrity
05The biggest star of 2031 may not exist — and can remember every single fan. Powerful, and psychologically complicated.
We probably get a mixture of all five.
Agent ↔ agent
"Find someone to rebuild my jaw. Licence current, board-certified in this exact procedure, no open disciplinary action, malpractice history disclosed, at least 200 cases, same surgeon at the same practice for five years."
1,140 practice agents answered · 0 advertisements shown
412 could not produce a verifiable licence record
693 refused to disclose claim history
31 fully evidenced · 3 shortlisted in 90 seconds
Nobody bought a place on that list. The valuable position stops being owning your attention and becomes being the one whose claims survive an agent's audit — agent optimization, not search engine optimization. And a refusal to disclose is itself an answer.

Authenticated
Credentialed, signed, traceable. Provenance as value.
The more generative systems fill the world with plausible information, the greater the economic value of answering one question: how do I know this is actually true?

The five futures · narrated
One short film per future — Tokyo, New York, London, Seoul, Las Vegas. Tap a clip to hear what a personal agent actually does for you. Illustrative sketches, not product recordings.
Future four, wired · the licence chain
An influencer's character is licensed, affiliates re-license it in their own territory, and each fan payment splits back up the chain automatically — inside the contract, or not at all.
Future four · licence chain · Ashcraft ledger
One fan pays once. The character's licence, its affiliate sub-licences and every fee split are enforced by the contract itself — not by trust, and not after the fact.

Awaiting settlement. Splits are computed by the licence, then written once.
Illustrative settlement on the Ashcraft ledger — clause logic and splits are real arithmetic, the ledger rounds and account IDs are simulated until testnet credentials are supplied.
The scarcest resource stops being content. It becomes source authority.
Identity, provenance, rights and ground truth — that's what agents will rely on. The most valuable companies may be the ones that hold it.
